Why I Love My Sofa Bed

My lovely sofa bed is one of my all-time favourite household furnishings. Few things in this world marry comfort and functionality quite as well as a high-quality sofa bed. It is by far the most flexible item of furniture I have ever owned.
During the day, my bed transforms as if by magic (with a few simple adjustments) into a nice 2 seater sofa. Not only is this considerably more comfortable for sitting on than a regular bed, it is also appropriate as a venue for entertaining guests with whom I would feel uncomfortable sharing a bed. In other words, my sofa bed does everything that a sofa can do, and arguably, it does these things even better than most dedicated sofas.
As the skies darken and evening turns to night, I often begin to feel sleepy and ready for bed. If I simply owned a regular sofa, this would be the point in the night at which I resentfully set about making the sofa as comfortable as possible for my night’s repose. However, as I am in the fortunate position of owning a multitasking furniture item, I do not suffer from the same problem as those who purchased a regular sofa. Instead, I make the same adjustments I made that morning in reverse and it is not long before I am staring at a fully-functional, fashionable and comfortable bed.
In this world it can be difficult to find the correct balance between sofas and beds. For those home owners with very limited space, such as those who own studio apartments, the choice between having either a sofa or a bed can be an extremely difficult one. Thankfully, the lives of these people have been made that much easier by businesses that offer both important designs in a single furnishing. I’m no longer sure I could live without such a wonderful sofa bed.
